Comfortable bed and good coffee, but noisy outside kept me up at night.

The bed provided a great night's rest with its comfort. I appreciated having a coffee maker in the room, which made mornings easier. Quick breakfast options like coffee and danishes were a nice touch.
The overall decor felt a bit outdated.

The rooms were decent, and we loved the easy access to local attractions. This place is perfect for groups looking for a budget-friendly stay. Make sure to align your plans with the events happening nearby for great deals and fun!
One downside was the cleanliness of the room. I found a random hair in the bathroom, which was a bit off-putting.

decent for a quick stay
So, I booked a King Room for a night. The front desk seemed annoyed, which was weird. Room was okay but found hair in the toilet, and the A/C needed a good tap to work. Free breakfast was a nice touch, though! Just wish my checkout process wasn’t so chaotic. Next time, I might look elsewhere.

The proximity to local attractions makes it convenient for budget travelers looking to explore. The room furnishings, like the desk and chair, offer a decent setup for getting some work done after a long day.
The lack of an elevator was a hassle, especially with a suitcase in hand on the second floor. The room had several cleanliness issues, like oil stains on the dust ruffle and a microwave that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Stepping into a hot, humid room because the AC wasn't turned on initially was quite uncomfortable. it took hours for the place to cool down. To top it off, the pool was a mess, filled with green algae, which made a dip feel uninviting. Overall, these maintenance issues made the stay less enjoyable.

Decent for a quick stay
Checked in and the receptionist seemed kinda over it, which was a bummer. Room was fine, but I found hair on the bathroom floor. The breakfast spread was nice though. It was really handy having coffee in the lobby to grab on the way out. Just wish the A/C didn’t need a tap to get going.

Found a decent rate for the King Room, which offered a good size and layout. Location provided easy access to the nearby attractions and area essentials, making it convenient for a solo traveler.
No elevator, so be prepared to handle your luggage up the stairs. The room felt like a sauna upon arrival due to non-functioning air conditioning, requiring me to leave it running for a while before it was comfortable. Carpet had large black stains, and the shower’s walls showed some paint peeling off by the shower head. The microwave looked dirty with stains, which made me skip using it entirely, opting for cold food instead. Plus, the dust ruffle on the bed had visible oil stains, raising some hygiene concerns. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed in the overall upkeep of the room.

Just a solid selection for a walk-in evening in San Antonio with very good value for money. The check-in lady was helpful and accommodating. Be aware that the A/C might need a little tap to get started.
